The purpose of this package is to make doom 3 much better texture quality.The textures have a noticeably higher resolution and much sharpness than original textures.Features:-over 500 High resolution textures-Most texture are 16 times bigger than original doom 3 texture. for example if the original texture had resolution 256 * 256, now has resolution 1024 * 1024-About 85%-90% textures is completely retextured (modeling in 3d max, baking, drawing), 10-15% textures is rescaled and overlay other texture in higher resolution-large number textures has height maps, so looks rally wonderful with parallax occlusion mapping or relief mapping

I can unzip the version 1 of the mod but not version 2 or the patch, the only visible differences is the type of file its compressed in. I'm using Winzip and would like advice in what i'm doing wrong.

There's still a number of textures unchanged even on the first map and the command console shows errors for many of the textures/material files.

Yes, just create a folder name for example, HDTextures, into Doom 3 folder, then copy the wulfen_texture_pack_2.0.pk4 big file you downloaded from here, inside your HDTextures folder mod and create a .cmd file with a text editor that has this 2 lines...:
cd..
Start /High Doom3.exe +set fs_game_base hdtextures +set image_usePrecompressedTextures 0 + disconnect
Save it inside the hdtextures mod folder with the name hdtextures.cmd and execute this file. that's all.

Also i made a fix that makes all materials in the Wulfen and Monoxead mods to be compatible with Doom 3 default (base) mods, so, NOT requiring the good, but complex SikkMod, take it from here, its an small .pk4 file that should be in same folder as the wulfen and monoxead texture .pk4 files...:
