So far my experience with the University of Central Missouri has been great. Firstly we went on an offered campus tour that took us through each part of the university and we saw how gorgeous and well-maintained the campus was within the little town of Warrensburg. The buildings represent old architecture with lots of brick buildings, but the school is not dated whatsoever, the interiors are very modernized and kept up to standards. The school offers a lot within campus, dining, living, even personalized apartments for older students, and to help get students used to university life it offers them to have their first year on campus to immerse themself in this new part of their life fully.
There is also online courses offered, and though not every degree is online, some may be completed fully from the comfort of one's home for those who have gotten used to online schooling or have a large distance from the school, similar to my situation.

I loved my time at the University of Central Missouri. It was a smaller campus, near downtown Warrensburg which was very quaint. For being a small university, the overall atmosphere was very nice and the buildings were beautiful. I loved being able to walk around campus. Despite there not being a ton to do in the town, I think the school did an overall good job at having many options available for students. I also had a great experience with the professors and think that they were very available and generally cared for their students. Scheduling was easy for the most part- also. I think one of the only complaints I have was that I wished that the library would be open later than midnight! Overall though, I think that the school was wonderful. I would recommend UCM for many different reasons. A great student life, a quaint and small environment, and professors that seem to care for the most part. I was overall pleasantly surprised with my time at the University of Central Missouri!

When I attended University of Central Missouri I was a grad student who attended 100% online. I enjoyed my Masters experience. My professors were understanding and motivating. My mom was in a bad accident my last semester of grad school. I was her primary caregiver at the time during her recovery. I was also teaching summer school (summer session) . So I had just finished my regular semester and was entering my summer session classes. My professors were the ones who helped me and gave me extensions when needed. They helped me stay organized and they listened. I felt heard and appreciated at those times. I will forever be grateful for the UCM community because they were there for me even when they didn’t realize it.
