Moore Death Reported In California Word has been received of the death of Robert 0. Moore, 49, on Aug. 18 in Brawley, after a long illness.

Mr. Moore, who had resided in the Mesilla Valley since childhood before moving to California in 1965, lived at 356 River, in Brawley. Born in Oklahoma, he he farmed extensively in the La Mesa, Anthony and La Union areas of N.M. until moving to California where he was a grower foreman for H. B.

Murphy Company. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, Calif. Survivors are his widow, Beth Tyson Moore; a daughter, Bobette, who lived in his home; a son, Robert James Moore, of Green River, Utah; his mother, Mrs. Laura Moore, of Chamberino, N.M.; two brothers, L. J.

Juarez Man Hurt In Wreck A Juarez resident, Alfredo P. Miramontes, 53, was taken to Thomason General Hospital for treatment after he fell from his motor scooter in a collision at 4:50 p.m. Thursday at Pershing and Oxford. His vehicle was hit by a car driven by John B. Howell, 74, of 2817 Wheeling.

Miramontes fell to the pavement and received a cut on the nose, according to the accident report. Howell was westbound on Oxford after making a stop and failed to see the Miramontes vehicle which was southbound on Pershing. Howell was cited for failure to yield right of way (disregarding a stop sign), causing an accident. Elisebeth, 21, and Kimberly Ann Sanders, 2, of 2217 N. Campbell were reported hurt in a 5 p.m.

mishap at Arizona and Stanton when the car in which they were passengers, driven by Dorothy C. Dennis, 49, and one driven by Mildred M. Hamlyn, 43, of 4612 Skylark were collision. The Hamlyn vehicle was westbound on Arizona in the center lane and the Dennis car was northbound on Stanton and, according to witnesses, the Hamlyn car ran a red light. Drivers of the two vehicles involved in a collision at 2:05 a.m.

at Zaragosa and North Loop were taken to their respective homes after the mishap. According to the report, pickup truck driven by John Earl Rust, 23, of 1032 Atwood and a station wagon driven by Vernon Grissom, 43, of 7832 Mustang were in collision. Rust was northbound on Zaragosa and Grissom was westbound on North Loop. Rust was cited for failure to yield right of way to a motor vehicle, causing an accident. The truck was knocked off the roadway, the bed knocked off and the cab coming to rest on its right side, according to the accident report.

Faces Charges Of Shoplifting A juvenile from Juarez was booked into El Paso City jail Thursday on a charge of shoplifting after he was arrested for taking a pair of pants earlier in the day from a store at 324 E. San Antonio. He was taken before Justice of the Peace Ruben Candelaria who gave the magistrate's warning and issued the warrant containing the charge.

Mrs. Frank Ost, 73, of 915 N. Ochoa, appeared before Justice of the Peace Danny Snooks and pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of shoplifting in connection with taking an article of women's clothing earlier in the day from a Downtown store.
